The 7th Annual Bo Johnson Memorial Golf Tournament brings together family and friends.  This website contains information about the annual golf tournament and party with silent auction that is held in honor and celebration of the life of Bo Johnson.  

The planning for the 2012 celebration party and tournament is underway!  The tournament will once again be held at Highland Golf Course on Monday April 23rd, to be preceded by a fabulous party held at The Birmingham Zoo on Sunday evening, April 22nd.   

As many of you know, Bo was diagnosed with esophageal cancer in 2005 and although he fought a hard battle, he was taken from us a mere three months after diagnosis.   After Bo's premature death, his family and friends set up the first annual golf tournament to raise funds and awareness for cancer.  The charity events thus far have raised over $500,000.  This year the Bo Johnson Charitable Foundation is partnering with UAB Comprehensive Cancer Center on a $5.5M gastrointestinal oncology initiative.  Together we can all help make a positive difference for those still fighting the cancer that Bo so bravely fought.
